WEDPLAN is an easy to use database, especially if you are already familiar with MS Works or MS Word. It has an ivy bordered form where you can enter your entire guest list, addresses, phone numbers, whether they send an engagement gift, wedding gift, whether thank you's were sent for either, whether they have RSVP'd, and if so, do they need lodging? Each invitation has it's own page, so they are really simple to find in a hurry.
It inncludes a few easy queries that allow you, with a click, to bring up (for example) the names of all the people who have RSVP'd and and what table they're at. Ideal for when it comes time to give the caterers a final count. Another query finds the names and phone numbers of all those who have not RSVP'd, so you can call and bug them. Another finds the names and addresses of all those who have sent a gift of either type and have not yet been thanked.
You only have to enter in all those names and addresses once! Then you can use that information to print any size envelopes (you just enter in the brand and style number from the boxes) or Avery labels. No need to write endless addresses on anouncements, invitations, seating cards.
